QSHC provides CPR knowledge at National Children's Day activities

QSHC provides CPR knowledge on National Children's Day 2020 (December 8, 2020). The CPR Committee of Queen Sirikit Heart Center provides CPR steps to parents and guardians of pediatric heart disease patients and relatives. In the event of an emergency, the patient will be given the correct procedure to promptly refer the patient to the medical team for assistance. This activity is part of the Children's Day Week for Heart Disease Patients organized by Queen Sirikit Heart Center in 2020. For this year's National Children's Day, the team of doctors and nurses from the Pediatric Cardiac Examination Room organized many activities for everyone to participate in. They also brought toys, dolls, and gifts donated by kind-hearted adults to distribute to the children, creating an atmosphere filled with smiles and warmth from the staff of Queen Sirikit Heart Center.

Sirikit Heart Center brings smiles to children at Children's Day event "For Children with Heart Disease" 2020

Sirikit Heart Center gave smiles to children at the Children's Day activity "For Children's Heart Disease Patients" 2020 (December 9, 2020) at the Pediatric Heart Department, 1st floor, Sirikit Heart Center Building. Parents brought their children to join the Children's Day Week activities for heart disease patients at Sirikit Heart Center, which is organized annually by the team of doctors and nurses in the Pediatric Heart Examination Room. They organized many activities for everyone to participate, such as providing knowledge on nutritional care for children with heart disease, basic life support training for patients and their relatives, and recreational activities from the Baan Chivasilp Volunteer Foundation and the PCT PED Committee. They also brought toys and many prizes to give to the children this year amidst smiles and warm care from the staff of Sirikit Heart Center.

“QSHC steps into its 27th year with international standards”

Sirikit Heart Center, Northeast, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, organized the alms giving ceremony on the occasion of its 27th anniversary (December 27, 2019). The activities on the 27th anniversary of its founding were honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Panthongviriyakul, Acting President of Khon Kaen University, and executives from various faculties and units of Khon Kaen University who jointly performed the alms giving ceremony to 9 monks at the ceremony area in front of the Sacred Heart Preserve to dedicate the merit to the venerable teachers and venerable persons. The executives then led the staff and personnel in the ceremony to worship the spirit house for good fortune. Sirikit Heart Center, Northeast, has received the royal name from Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother, giving the name “Sirikit Heart Center”. Northeast Region" and has an international name of Queen Sirikit Heart Center Of the Northeast on June 17, 1991. Later on January 24, 1994, His Majesty King Maha Vijiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun, Rama X, when he held the title of Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, came to preside over the foundation stone laying ceremony for construction, bringing the utmost joy and happiness to the people.

CVT KKU Annaul Meeting 2019, 6th time

CVT KKU Annaul Meeting 2019, 6th Annual Academic Conference on Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, bringing new knowledge and innovations to exchange knowledge and develop the capability of cardiac surgery (December 19, 2019) at Noppadol Thongsobhit Meeting Room, 3rd floor, Queen Sirikit Heart Center Building. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chetchai Tantisirisin welcomed the participants of the Academic Conference on Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery, organized by the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Unit, Queen Sirikit Heart Center, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University. The participants included medical personnel in surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, anesthesiology, and medical personnel interested in exchanging knowledge, totaling more than 100 people. The CVT KKU Annaul Meeting 2019 has been held for the 6th consecutive year. At present, the number of patients with heart disease is increasing. Medical personnel need to constantly receive knowledge, both in terms of technology and new sciences, to reduce complications and risks to patients’ lives, which will make treatment more efficient and standardized. This academic conference is a good opportunity for doctors, nurses and medical personnel to gain new knowledge and modern science in heart surgery, which will be beneficial for the care of heart disease patients in the future.
