On December 16, 2019, at Sirikunakorn Room 4, Sirikunakorn Building, Khon Kaen University, there was a seminar project to increase the efficiency of the public relations network and the image promotion of Khon Kaen University, organized by the Special Affairs Division and the Corporate Communication Division, Khon Kaen University. The objectives were to allow personnel working in corporate communications and the image promotion of the university to understand the policy directions and changes in the corporate communications of the university, as well as to develop the potential in using digital tools and methods of personnel responsible for the university's corporate communications, especially corporate communications via the Khon Kaen University website. The seminar was attended by 80 corporate communications and public relations personnel from all units in the university, including personnel from the Corporate Communication Division. Asst. Prof. Natthasom Thanakunrangsrit The Assistant Rector for Special Affairs presided over the opening ceremony and gave a special lecture on the topic of the university's policies and expectations for the public relations network and Mr. Thanya Phakdee The Director of Corporate Communications welcomed the project participants.
Asst. Prof. Natthasom Thanakunrangsrit The Assistant Rector for Special Affairs said that the work of the Corporate Communications Division is the front line that will bring the image and news to the outside including our own internal personnel. This kind of work requires cooperation from networks from all parts. Therefore, this meeting will be a combination of forces to find a way for our corporate communications work to progress with the concept of modern communication that is not just defensive but will be offensive to the target group to increase the opportunity for them to know the good things that we have as much as possible and look to present the differences that we have, creating interest for the organization to attract attention. For this training, we want to create professional public relations personnel who can write news by themselves and present it effectively. The Corporate Communications Division is ready to support and drive our work. Therefore, we want everyone to use this channel and opportunity to the maximum benefit in developing their own work.

For this training, there was also a seminar on “Past, Present and Future of Khon Kaen University Public Relations Network and the Exchange of Knowledge, Listening to Problems and Limitations in Working to Develop a Joint Public Relations Network” with speakers such as Mr. Thanya Phakdee Director of Corporate Communications Ms. Watchara Noichompoo Public Relations Specialist Mr. Udomchai Suphanwong Public relations specialists gave a lecture on the guidelines for organizing the event "Khon Kaen University meets the media". Mr. Thanya Phakdee The Director of Corporate Communications gave a lecture in the seminar on the past, present and future of the public relations network that the work of corporate communication requires the power of cooperation from working together. Khon Kaen University has successfully used the mechanism of the public relations network and has been a successful model of working together. The university has supported the network to have the opportunity to develop its capabilities and understand the policy guidelines to drive the work in its own organization to be more efficient and to use the potential in the central part more. It also helps to promote good relationships among each other so that the network has the opportunity to exchange knowledge and help each other, which is the guideline that makes the network sustainable in the future.
The activity of enhancing the efficiency of the public relations network and promoting the image of Khon Kaen University is an ongoing project in the 2020 budget, which is scheduled to be implemented in 3 phases during November - December 2019. Phase 1, which was held on December 16, 2019, was to listen to the corporate communication policy and image communication from the university executives and provide information on the use of corporate communication tools and activities. Phase 2, on December 19-20, 2019, was a workshop to develop the potential of the network personnel and personnel working in corporate communication using digital tools and methods, including activities to strengthen good relationships between each other, held in Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province. Phase 3, on December 24, 2019, was a workshop on the use of the newly renovated Khon Kaen University website at the Computer Training Room (Room 1), 5th floor, Library Building. Mr. Chumphon Para Public Relations Specialist is a trainer of the training with the aim of giving all workers the right and practical skills to publish news and media for public relations on the new website of Khon Kaen University which has been newly developed by the Corporate Communications Division to replace the old website which was discontinued and has been in actual use since December 2019.
