NONTHABURI — The Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences at Khon Kaen University (KKU) extends its congratulations to Dr. Jeerati Prompipak, a research scientist there, who recently won first place for best poster presentation in the laboratory research category, an accolade presented at the 48th Annual Conference of the Association of Medical Technologists of Thailand (ACMTT), held from 29 June to 1 July 2026 at the IMPACT Forum, Muang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi Province.

Dr. Prompipak received the award for a research paper entitled “Construction and functional characterization of a recombinant protein G-tamavidin2 for multispecies immunoglobulin detection”. The conference brought together medical technology professionals, academics, and researchers from across the nation to share insights and advancements in the field.

Reflecting on the achievement, Dr. Prompipak said that receiving the award from the ACMTT was both a personal honour and a source of institutional pride. The award-winning study focuses on developing a fusion protein designed to replace secondary antibodies in immunoassays, a breakthrough expected to advance academic knowledge and laboratory practice in medical technology. Dr. Prompipak added that the conference offered a valuable platform for exchanging knowledge with fellow researchers and gathering feedback to refine future studies.
