KHON KAEN – The Queen Sirikit Heart Center has launched a new telemedicine service at its Advanced Heart Failure Clinic, aiming to improve access to care and reduce the burden on patients, particularly those living far from the hospital. The service, which began on April 8, 2026, allows for convenient online follow-up consultations, eliminating the need for patients to travel.
Associate Professor Dr. Wichai Senthong, a cardiologist, stated that the telemedicine service covers initial symptom assessment, chronic disease monitoring, and general consultations. He highlighted the benefits for patients, including saving time and money, reducing travel-related risks, and minimizing carbon emissions, making it an environmentally friendly option.
The Advanced Heart Failure Clinic operates with a comprehensive multidisciplinary team dedicated to patients with heart failure. This team includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, physical therapists, and nutritionists.
The clinic is open every Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
