COLA KKU Celebrates 19 Years of Service to Society

KHON KAEN – The College of Local Administration (COLA) at Khon Kaen University celebrated its 19th anniversary on Friday, April 3, with an event themed “19 Years of Pride, 19 Years of Delivering Value to Society.”

The ceremony was held at the college and attended by university executives, faculty, staff, and partners from various sectors. Associate Professor Dr. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, presided over the event. He was warmly welcomed by Assistant Professor Dr. Sirisak Laochankham, Dean of COLA, along with the college’s faculty and staff.

The day’s activities began with a traditional Buddhist blessing ceremony for prosperity, led by seven monks from Wat Thep Puranaram. This was followed by the offering of a meal to the monks.

The event concluded with a networking lunch, providing an opportunity for administrators, staff, and collaborative partners to strengthen their relationships in a warm and celebratory atmosphere.

The 19th-anniversary celebration highlighted COLA’s consistent dedication to its mission over nearly two decades. The college emphasized its ongoing commitment to education, research, and academic services aimed at the continuous development of local communities and society.
