On April 1, 2026, at the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University (KKU), the executive team led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjug, Dean of the Faculty of Education, together with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saowanee Sirisooksilp, Chair of the Ph.D. Program in Educational Administration, and faculty members, welcomed a delegation from the Ph.D. Program in Educational Administration, Faculty of Education, Chiang Mai University (CMU), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suban Pornwiang. The visit focused on exchanging knowledge in educational management and establishing academic cooperation networks. This activity serves as a key mechanism to elevate educational administration standards by sharing experiences from leading national institutions.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjug stated that building cooperation between top higher education institutions is a fundamental pillar in developing educational management innovations that keep pace with global changes. Sharing visions and best practices strengthens the competency of future educational leaders, particularly at the graduate level, which emphasizes high-quality research to drive sustainable national educational policies.
The event featured knowledge exchange sessions on graduate program management and research presentations by doctoral students from both universities. Additionally, the delegation visited Khon Kaen University Demonstration School (International Division) to study learning management strategies aimed at preparing human resources for global citizenship. This collaboration not only strengthens the relationship between KKU and CMU but also fosters a learning ecosystem that supports the development of educational innovators for a positive social impact.
