On March 31, 2026, at the ED-TEAL Room, 4th Floor, Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University hosted a workshop titled “Professional Communication: Body Language, Tone, and Diction.” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjug, Dean of the Faculty of Education, presided over the opening ceremony. The event was attended by administrators, faculty members, and staff from both the Faculty of Education and the Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, aiming to enhance communication skills and promote an efficient working environment.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanjug, Dean of the Faculty of Education, emphasized the significance of modern communication, stating that professional communication extends beyond verbal dialogue or online messaging. It deeply involves body language and tone of voice, which reflect the organization’s image. He expressed his expectation that staff will apply these techniques to their daily operations and interpersonal interactions, fostering a communication-driven organisational culture across all dimensions.
The workshop featured Dr. Nichanan Kongsri, a lecturer from the Department of Marketing, Faculty of Business Administration and Information Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi, as the expert speaker. She shared key techniques for developing effective communication skills, ranging from personal presentation and strategic word choice to using appropriate tone of voice to ensure clear mutual understanding. The session was highly interactive, with a strong emphasis on practical application.
This activity is a key component of the Core Competency Development Project for the Faculty of Education’s personnel. It aims to elevate skills and capabilities in alignment with the organization’s strategic direction. Furthermore, it serves as a mechanism to drive management excellence according to the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx), striving toward the strategic goal of establishing sustainable, high-quality standards for educational operations and services.
