
On 26 March 2026, the Thai Library Association, under the Royal Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, held its annual general meeting and the National Academic Conference for 2025–2026. The event, which took place at the Prince Palace Hotel in Bangkok, included a distinguished awards ceremony honouring organisations and individuals in the library and information science sector.

On this occasion, the Khon Kaen University Library was selected to receive the “Outstanding Higher Education Library Award for 2025”. This prestigious award affirms the library’s success in managing and developing its services with exceptional quality and excellence, establishing it as a model for other academic libraries. Miss Suttilak Padpheng, Deputy Director for Administration and Human Resources of the Library, accepted the award plaque from Khunying Kasama Varavarn na Ayudhya, the ceremony’s Chairperson.
The award reflects the Khon Kaen University Library’s commitment to being a “Learning Centre for All,” continuously supporting the education, inquiry, research, and lifelong learning of students, faculty, staff, and the community. This dedication helps drive Khon Kaen University’s vision of becoming “A World-Leading Research and Development University.”
