The Thailand Macro Business Simulation 2026 competition was successfully held on 7 March 2026 at Kasetsart University, Sriracha Campus. This national competition provides a platform for university students to demonstrate their business management and strategic planning capabilities through a high-fidelity business simulation environment. This year’s event featured intense competition among 176 teams representing 22 universities across Thailand.
Representing Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC), a team of fourth-year International Marketing students delivered an outstanding performance:

Under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phaninee Naruetharadhol and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chavis Ketkaew, the team successfully advanced to the “Upper Class” round. They also earned the prestigious opportunity to represent Thailand at the international championship hosted by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) on 6–7 June 2026. This achievement highlights the students’ strong capabilities in business analysis, strategic decision-making, and competitive market simulation.
This achievement demonstrates our students’ ability to effectively bridge the gap between academic theory and practical application. Advancing to the international round in Hong Kong is a significant step in their professional development as future global business leaders.
This competition also aligns with key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education) through experiential learning, SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by fostering entrepreneurial skills, and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) by enhancing collaborative academic and business networks.
Through experiences such as this competition, students develop the competencies required to navigate the rapidly evolving global business environment.
