This year’s KKU Societal Contribution Fair saw the collaboration of 62 internal and external partner organisations to serve a continuously growing number of attendees. Guided by the principles of providing accessible, equitable, and free services, the university is committed to working with society in all dimensions—from education and health to career enhancement and livelihood development. These efforts aim to build community trust and position the university as a reliable institution that responds to and guides tangible solutions for societal challenges. Furthermore, the event encourages multisectoral participation in community and social development, advancing long-term sustainability goals. This reinforces the university’s role as a thought leader and a key mechanism for driving creative and socially responsible development. The fair offered significant benefits to the public, alleviating healthcare costs and providing equitable access to quality health services for all groups, while empowering them with expert knowledge to improve their health and quality of life.

The KKU Societal Contribution Fair aligns with Khon Kaen University’s strategic pillar of Societal Contribution, which focuses on strengthening communities through knowledge, technology, and innovation. This initiative covers over 95 communities in Khon Kaen province, delivering services in four main areas: health, education and consultation, community career promotion, and pet healthcare. Through continuous collaboration with its network of partners, the university aims to create economic and social value while sustainably enhancing the public’s quality of life. The Faculty of Dentistry’s participation in providing dental services at this event was a key part of this commitment.
