KKU Faculty of Dentistry Earns Prestigious TQC Plus: Operation Award for 2025

The Faculty of Dentistry at Khon Kaen University has been honoured with the Thailand Quality Class Plus: Operation award for the year 2025. The official award announcement and presentation ceremony will be held on Thursday, 26 February 2026, at the Makkawan Rangsan Ballroom, Royal Thai Army Club in Bangkok, an event organised by the Thailand Productivity Institute.

The Thailand Quality Award is a distinguished recognition widely acknowledged at both national and international levels. It serves as a benchmark for organisational management excellence, certifying that an institution operates in accordance with internationally aligned standards. The award framework is particularly valuable for organisations committed to strengthening their systems and advancing towards sustainable excellence.

The award’s assessment process is based on the criteria of The Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) from the United States, a model adopted by many countries worldwide, including Japan, Australia, Singapore, and the Philippines. The evaluation covers seven key categories: Leadership; Strategy; Customers; Measurement, Analysis, and Knowledge Management; Workforce; Operations; and Results.

Previously, the Faculty of Dentistry at Khon Kaen University received the Thailand Quality Class Plus: People award for the year 2021, which was announced on Thursday, 3 March 2022.

This latest achievement marks another significant milestone for the Faculty of Dentistry and reflects its sustained commitment to strengthening its organisational management system. The Faculty will continue to apply the award criteria as a strategic framework for analysis, planning, and continuous improvement, with the aim of generating enduring value for the institution, society, and the nation.
