The Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, extends its congratulations to three first-year nursing students: Miss Sunantha Sumonta, Miss Phimchanok Sanso, and Miss Kulnaphut Sangsuk. Their team brought great pride to the university by winning the “Youth Change Maker Smoke-Free 2026” award at the 16th Smoke-Free University Academic Conference, held from 23–24 February 2026.
Their success followed participation in the “TOGETHER WE LEAD CAMP: Empowering Gen Z Leaders for a Smoke-Free Society,” organised by the Upper Northeastern Smoke-Free Higher Education Institution Network. The camp served as a platform for students to demonstrate leadership potential, creativity, and commitment to promoting a tobacco-free community.
This recognition represents a commendable milestone for these emerging nursing professionals. It reflects their dedication not only to academic excellence in health sciences but also to meaningful social engagement.
