Khon Kaen University was filled with vibrant colours, joyful laughter, and the inviting aromas of traditional cuisine as Chinese students gathered to celebrate the Chinese New Year under the theme “China–Thailand Family, Celebrating the Year of China Together.” The event highlighted the elegance and warmth of Chinese culture within the University’s diverse international community.
A central highlight of the celebration was a communal cooking activity, where students collaborated in preparing traditional dishes. Participants wrapped and shaped dumplings, a symbolic food representing prosperity, unity, and family harmony in Chinese culture. The shared preparation and enjoyment of the meal reflected not only culinary heritage but also friendship and intercultural connection.
The celebration also featured impressive performances that captivated the audience. Students demonstrated their talents through melodious singing, musical performances, and a dynamic martial arts display. Each act vividly expressed the depth and beauty of Chinese cultural heritage and received enthusiastic applause from the audience.
