Khon Kaen University’s Faculty of Dentistry welcomed high school students and teachers from two institutions for educational visits aimed at fostering inspiration and career clarity in the health sciences fields.
On 12 February 2026, the Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University (KKU), officially welcomed the teachers and students from Kalyanawat School for a morning study visit. Assistant Professor Watcharin Hovichitr, D.D.S., Associate Dean for Education, and faculty staff members joined in the reception. This visit was organised to enhance the potential of secondary school students interested in pursuing studies within the health science disciplines.
The morning programme focused on inspiring students and broadening their academic perspectives. It provided them with first-hand exposure to the higher education environment, supporting informed decision-making when selecting fields of study aligned with their interests and aptitudes. The activities also aimed to strengthen their independent learning skills and their ability to collaborate effectively with peers.

Later that afternoon, the Faculty of Dentistry also welcomed a group of teachers and students from The Vithidham School, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. The objective of this visit was to provide students with insight into the pathways available in health sciences, enhance their knowledge and understanding of dental medicine curricula, and serve as a guide for their future decisions regarding tertiary education.

These study visits form an important component of the Faculty of Dentistry’s mission at Khon Kaen University to promote educational collaboration and support youth development. Through such initiatives, the Faculty aims to ensure that students are well prepared to pursue high-quality higher education opportunities in the health sciences.
