KKU’s Faculty of Dentistry Hosts Study Visits for Educators and Students from Kalyanawat School and The Vithidham School

Khon Kaen University’s Faculty of Dentistry welcomed high school students and teachers from two institutions for educational visits aimed at fostering inspiration and career clarity in the health sciences fields.

On 12 February 2026, the Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University (KKU), officially welcomed the teachers and students from Kalyanawat School for a morning study visit. Assistant Professor Watcharin Hovichitr, D.D.S., Associate Dean for Education, and faculty staff members joined in the reception. This visit was organised to enhance the potential of secondary school students interested in pursuing studies within the health science disciplines.

The morning activities focused on providing inspiration and expanding students’ academic horizons. It allowed the students to experience the atmosphere of higher education, supporting their decision-making process when selecting a field of study that aligns with their personal interests and aptitudes. Furthermore, the activities were designed to develop their learning skills and their ability to collaborate effectively with others.

 

   

Later that afternoon, the Faculty of Dentistry also welcomed a group of teachers and students from The Vithidham School, Sakon Nakhon Rajabhat University. The objective of this visit was to provide students with insight into the pathways available in health sciences, enhance their knowledge and understanding of dental medicine curricula, and serve as a guide for their future decisions regarding tertiary education.

 

 

These study visits reflect a crucial part of the Faculty of Dentistry’s mission at Khon Kaen University: promoting educational collaboration and supporting the development of youth potential to ensure they are well-prepared to enter high-quality higher education programmes.
