On 10 February 2026, executives from Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, President of Khon Kaen University, attended the Chinese New Year celebration banquet hosted by the Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Khon Kaen. The event was held at the Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre.

The KKU delegation included Assistant Professor Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for International Affairs, and Mr. Itsara Suriyakul Na Ayutthaya, Director of the International Affairs Division.

The celebration was graciously hosted by Liu Hongmei, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Khon Kaen.
