COLA KKU Collaborates with NACC to Drive Anti-Corruption Measures and Foster Sustainable Local Governance

Khon Kaen University’s College of Local Administration reaffirms its role as a public affairs “Think Tank” committed to creating transparent local government and sustainable societal development.

On 30 January 2026, the College of Local Administration, Khon Kaen University, welcomed representatives from the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) for an academic discussion and exchange of perspectives. The meeting was organised under a project aimed at developing and advancing anti-corruption prevention measures, in accordance with Section 32 of the Organic Act on Anti-Corruption B.E. 2561 (2018).

The discussions focused on two key areas: developing measures to prevent risks of policy-level corruption within local administrative organisations, and formulating recommendations to mitigate corruption risk in managing the budget of the National Village and Urban Community Fund. These goals are to be achieved through participatory processes, gathering input, and exchanging knowledge with relevant experts and agencies.

This collaboration underscores COLA KKU’s pivotal role as an academic institution specialising in public administration, with a mission to generate applied knowledge, support evidence-based public policy formulation, and strengthen governance mechanisms at the local level. Such efforts are fundamental to ensuring transparent administration, accountability, and the sustainable development of Thai society.

COLA KKU remains committed to serving as a “Think Tank for Public Affairs” in order to establish a transparent, governed, and sustainable society.
