Khon Kaen – On 15 January 2025, Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai, Assistant Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communications at the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University (KKU), welcomed faculty and 203 students from Mathayom 5 (Year 11) at Phukradung Wittayakhom School in Loei Province to Room 1101, Circular Building, Faculty of Science.

The purpose of the visit was for the students to provide educational guidance on university-level studies in science. This initiative aimed to equip students with comprehensive information and inspire them to pursue academic pathways aligned with their interests and potential.

Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai and his team delivered detailed briefings on the Faculty of Science’s academic programmes, admission processes, available scholarships, and student support services. The presentation focused on essential information for planning further education, including career pathways available to graduates across various scientific disciplines within the Faculty.

The session covered curriculum structures, opportunities for research and innovation development, participation in skills enhancement activities, and access to modern learning facilities and support systems. This approach ensured that students gained a clear understanding of the academic potential and opportunities offered by the Faculty of Science. The event also highlighted a learning environment conducive to holistic student development.

This educational guidance session reflects the Faculty of Science’s commitment to producing high-quality graduates who will be key contributors to the nation’s development. The Faculty hopes to inspire the students and encourage their interest in continuing their education at the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, thereby promoting access to quality and equitable education, particularly for youth from remote areas, enabling everyone to develop their potential and build bright futures in their chosen academic fields.
