KKU Faculty of Science Hosts Educational Guidance Session for Phukradung Wittayakhom School

Khon Kaen – On 15 January 2025, Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai, Assistant Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communications at the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University (KKU), welcomed faculty and 203 students from Mathayom 5 (Year 11) at Phukradung Wittayakhom School in Loei Province to Room 1101, Circular Building, Faculty of Science.

The purpose of the visit was for the students to receive educational guidance regarding university-level studies in science. This initiative provides students with comprehensive information and aims to inspire them to choose academic pathways that align with their interests and potential.

Dr. Sukhum Ruangchai and his team provided detailed information on the Faculty of Science’s academic programmes, admission procedures, available scholarships, and various educational support services. The presentation focused on delivering useful information required by students for planning their further education, including career paths available to graduates from different scientific disciplines within the Faculty.

The session covered curriculum details, opportunities for research and innovation development, participation in skills development activities, and access to modern learning support. This ensured that the students fully understood the potential and opportunities afforded by studying at the Faculty of Science. The event also showcased a learning atmosphere and an environment conducive to holistic student development.

This educational guidance session reflects the Faculty of Science’s commitment to producing high-quality graduates who will be key contributors to the nation’s development. The Faculty hopes to inspire the students and encourage their interest in continuing their education at the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, thereby promoting access to quality and equitable education, particularly for youth from remote areas, enabling everyone to develop their potential and build bright futures in their chosen academic fields.
