12 January 2026 – At the Sukhothai Room, 7th Floor, Building 1, Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) Headquarters in Bangkok, Lecturers Phakraphong Phrikhamnam and Thanyasiri Thongkhampan, accompanied by students from Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, Nong Khai Campus, received the National Champion Award for their short film titled “Bung Fai Phi PEA” (PEA Phantom Rocket).
The film won the “Short Film, Long Save” competition held under the theme “Innovative Power Saving Ideas.” This entry was selected as the overall winner from 245 submissions nationwide. The competition was organised by Save Thai, a project overseen and managed by the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA), aiming to foster awareness of creative energy use from the perspective of the new generation. Ms. Nuananong Khamsaisaeng, Director of Sustainability and Corporate Communications, represented PEA in presenting the awards.
The winning team, named “Bor Mee Young Pen Pai Bor Dai Bung Fai Pharyanark” (Nothing is Impossible Naga Rocket), consisted of supervising lecturers and students from the Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, Nong Khai Campus, as follows:

- Ms. Yanisa Kitcharoen
- Master Prayut Janthananan
- Master Chayamongkol Banjongphisan
The supervising lecturers were Mr. Phakraphong Phrikhamnam and Ms. Thanyasiri Thongkhampan.
This achievement represents a significant source of pride for Khon Kaen University Demonstration School, Nong Khai Campus. It reflects the students’ creativity and potential in conveying local narratives from Nong Khai Province through short film, and continues to inspire students to further develop their skills in acting and creative media production.
