The Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University, proudly congratulates a research group of sixth-year undergraduate students for achieving international recognition after receiving a Travel Award for their academic presentation at The 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Medical Education (AIMEC 2025), held from 12–14 December 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The award-winning research is titled “Self-Directed Learning Outcomes Using AI-Assisted Digital Smile Design among Final-Year Dental Students.” This study explores the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) combined with Digital Smile Design technology to enhance self-directed learning outcomes for final-year dental students. It reflects the potential of Thai students to effectively integrate digital technology with medical education on par with international standards.
