The conference served as a key platform for strengthening networks and advancing cooperation in economics and management between higher education institutions in China and Thailand. A major milestone was the launch of the China–Thailand Alliance for Industry–Academia–Research Cooperation in Management and Economics, designed to create a high-level collaborative ecosystem linking industry, academia, and research.

The event also welcomed representatives from leading Thai universities, including Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, Chiang Mai University, and Naresuan University, underscoring broad national engagement.

Collaboration under the new alliance will focus on contemporary issues critical to regional and global economic development, such as supply chain management, digital economy, cross-border trade, and green finance. This initiative will also promote various forms of collaborative activities, including joint curriculum development, academic and student exchange programs, collaborative research projects, and cooperation with the industrial sector.

Participation in this international academic forum underscores the role of the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, in driving international academic cooperation. It also reaffirms KKBS’s commitment to developing knowledge, research, and collaborative networks to enhance modern economic potential sustainably.
