Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, KKU Conducts Health Education Outreach at Nampong Suksa School, Khon Kaen Province

On 11 December 2025, the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University (KKU), organised a community health education outreach at Nampong Suksa School, Khon Kaen Province. The activity involved faculty executives, lecturers, staff, and third-year Medical Technology students.

The outreach was conducted under the project “Urine Cotinine Testing to Campaign for Smoking Cessation – Test, Know, Quit, Stay Away from Smoke.” The initiative aimed to raise health awareness, reduce risk behaviours, and promote well-being among secondary school students. Health education was delivered through four interactive learning stations covering: the dangers of smoking, mental health awareness, obesity and nutrition, and educational guidance for further studies.

The activity received a warm welcome from Director Thanachot Srithonrasat, Director of Nampong Suksa School, and Deputy Director Kraiyarat Purisan, Deputy Director of Student Affairs Administration.

The event was also honored by the presence of executives from the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences who participated in and supported the activities, including, Asst.Prof.Dr.Amonrat  Jumnainsong Vice Dean for Administration, and Asst.Prof.Dr.Patcharaporn  Tippayawat, Vice Dean for Research.
