Center of Excellence for Early Childhood Development, Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, Organizes Annual Sports Day for Academic Year 2025

The Center of Excellence for Early Childhood Development, Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, organized its Annual Sports Day for the Academic Year 2025 on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at the Multipurpose Gymnasium, Sports Division, Khon Kaen University. Student children, parents, and staff participated fully in the event, amidst an atmosphere of fun and warmth.

 

The programme opened with a report by Ms. Kiranawan Rakduangphoom, Chair of the Parents’ Committee, who explained that the Sports Day aimed to promote holistic early childhood development across physical, emotional, social, and intellectual dimensions. She also highlighted the importance of parental involvement as a key factor in supporting children’s learning and development.

The official opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Nittaya Phanngam, Associate Dean for Academic Services, Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University. She noted that, in addition to supporting well-rounded child development, the Sports Day also helped strengthen positive relationships among the Center of Excellence for Early Childhood Development, parents, and staff, laying a foundation for sustainable child development in the future.

Activities began with a parade procession and the opening ceremony, followed by student performances and sports competitions suitable for various developmental stages, such as ball collection races, shuttle runs, and hoop passing. There were also relational sports activities for parents and staff designed to promote unity, participation, and shared positive experiences among all parties involved.

The organization of this Sports Day is yet another crucial activity reflecting the mission of the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University, to promote comprehensive early childhood development, coupled with building strong and sustainable networks of cooperation among the educational institution, families, and the community.
