23 December 2025 – The Nursing Division of the Sirikit Cardiac Centre organised a workshop to prepare for the Nursing Quality Assessment (NQA 2026) accreditation process. The workshop was held at the Noppadol Thong Sopit Meeting Room on the 3rd Floor, aiming to enhance knowledge, understanding, and operational procedures in alignment with the established standards for nursing quality assessment.
The training workshop was honoured to feature Police Captain Yuriphan Wanichyobol, an expert nursing academic from the Nursing Division, Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Public Health, and Ajarn Khwunnapha Khwunsapaphrakul as special lecturers. They delivered a session on the topic of “Criteria for Hospital Nursing Quality Assessment,” covering the conceptual framework and key issues necessary for successful accreditation preparation.

On the second day of the training, participants were divided into two groups. The first group conducted on-site inspections of frontline service areas, including the Outpatient Department (OPD) and the Emergency Room (ER), to evaluate patient care processes, services, and the readiness of the nursing system. The second group visited the Cardiac Medicine Ward on the 6th Floor to exchange views on specialised patient care and quality management within the ward.
Following the site visits, both groups reconvened to synthesise their findings and jointly define the conceptual framework and key focus areas for the upcoming NQA 2026 assessment. This collaborative process ensured a unified approach to nursing quality development across the division, reinforcing the Sirikit Cardiac Centre’s commitment to continuous improvement and high standards of patient care.
