Held from 12 to 14 December 2025 at Suranaree University of Technology, this event served as a significant platform gathering the collective power of higher education institutions nationwide to exchange knowledge and support multidimensional activities aiming for sustainability.

The meeting facilitated an exchange on operational guidelines for academic services, Social Return on Investment (SROI) assessment, and collaborations with local communities to establish standards for measuring social outcomes. A key resolution was passed approving the principle that the CUSAC network utilise the central SROI platform developed jointly by Khon Kaen University, Chiang Mai University, and Prince of Songkla University. This platform will serve as a crucial tool to assess the social impact of projects, enabling academic service initiatives to reflect their value to society in a concrete and credible manner.

Subsequently, discussions focused on the cooperation framework between the CUSAC network and leading private sector entities, namely Teva Corporation Co., Ltd. and Grow Eco-Village Khaoyai Social Enterprise Co., Ltd. A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on 13 December 2025 to define guidelines for introducing standardised herbal products from network members to new marketing channels, such as within the Grow Eco-Village project, thereby creating opportunities for local wisdom to grow sustainably. Concurrently, Suranaree University of Technology (SUT) presented innovations regarding research on “Wolffia” (Water Meal), a Superfood processed into various products such as snacks and noodles, and currently being promoted through the “Pam Cha” prototype product.

Participation in this meeting reflects the commitment of the Office of Academic Service, Khon Kaen University, to act as a vital driving force within the Thai higher education sector. The Office remains ready to collaborate with every institution in the CUSAC network to apply knowledge and innovation for the maximum concrete benefit of communities, society, and the nation
