Dr. David Nugroho, a lecturer in the Biosciences and Biological Innovation for Sustainability (BBiS) Programme within the Department of Integrated Science, Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, has won the Best Young Talent Researcher Award at the 8th International Conference on Advanced Electromaterials (ICAE 2025).
The award was presented during Session 17: Frontiers in Materials Science, organised by the Korean Institute of Electrical and Electronic Material Engineers. The conference took place from 25 to 28 November 2025, at the ICC Jeju on Jeju Island, South Korea.

Dr. Nugroho presented his research paper titled, “Synthesis of $\text{ZnO}/\text{Ti}_3\text{C}_2$ MXene/GQDs for Photocatalytic Degradation of Pharmaceutical Pollutants.”
This achievement underscores the growing international recognition of research conducted by the Faculty of Science, Khon Kaen University, particularly in the fields of biological and environmental sciences. It also reflects the faculty’s commitment to producing high-quality, impact-driven research and innovation for sustainable development and addressing pressing societal and environmental challenges.
