On 25 November 2025, the Faculty of Nursing at Khon Kaen University (KKU) hosted a training programme titled “The Use of AI for Instructional Management and Maximising Work Efficiency.” The event was held in a hybrid format (onsite and online) and was presided over by Associate Professor Ampornpan Theeranut, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Nursing.
The programme featured distinguished speakers, including Assistant Professor Denpong Soodphakdee, Ph.D., Vice President for Education and Digital, Khon Kaen University; Assistant Professor Anucha Somabut, Ph.D., Assistant to the President for Education; and Associate Professor Wattana Pattanagool, Director of the Centre for Innovative Learning and Teaching. A large number of academic and support staff attended the event in the Sri Kalapaphruek Meeting Room at the Faculty of Nursing, Khon Kaen University.

Associate Professor Ampornpan Theeranut, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, stated, “The objective of this training is to enhance the AI skills of our personnel and build knowledge and competency in applying AI technology, aligning with the Faculty’s requirements. This ultimately promotes the effective development of both instruction and daily operations. Currently, AI plays a crucial role in the management of both academic and support functions. Therefore, the Faculty organised this training to elevate AI skills, leading to improved quality in both education and future service provision.”
The activities included lectures and hands-on workshops on topics such as “Applying AI to Instructional Design,” “Creating Effective Learning Media using AI,” “Techniques for utilising AI for Document Development and Data Management,” and “Guidelines for Safe and Ethical AI Use.” The programme concluded with case studies and practical exercises.
