Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, KKU Organizes Physical Therapy Training for Filipino Students to Enhance Professional Skills and Advance International Collaboration

 

On 19 November 2025, the Associated Medical Sciences and Physical Therapy Health Service Center, Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University, organised a Physical Therapy Practical Training Programme for students from the Philippines, running from 19–29 November 2025.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Jureerut  Daduang, Dean of the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, who delivered the opening remarks and warmly welcomed the participants.

This program is organized under academic collaboration with the School of Physical Therapy, Far Eastern University–Dr. Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation (FEU-NRMF), Philippines. The objectives are to develop academic cooperation between the two institutions, provide opportunities for faculty and students to exchange experiences, practice physical therapy skills, and learn about research work at the international level, while also promoting cultural understanding between both countries.

This program is part of the collaboration under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Faculty of Associated Medical Sciences, Khon Kaen University, and FEU-NRMF, which will help strengthen academic cooperation, research, and professional skill development for the advancement of physical therapy on the international stage.
