KKU Dental Students Win International Award at SEAADE 2025

The Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University (KKU), extends its congratulations to our undergraduate students on receiving an award in an international academic competition.

Congratulations to Ms. Wachirada Thangam, Ms. Anatee Malem, and Ms. Prancheewa Srisuchat, all 6th-year dental students, on receiving the Third Prize in the Undergraduate Student Poster Presentation Award category.

Their award-winning research presentation was titled: “Self-Directed Learning in Digital Smile Design: Student Performance and Satisfaction among Final-Year Dental Students.” The research project was supervised by Dr. Preeyarat Plongniras and Asst. Prof. Dr. Supawich Morkmued.

The competition was part of The 36th Annual Scientific Conference of the South East Asia Association for Dental Education (SEAADE 2025), held in Taipei, Taiwan, from November 7-9, 2025, with participants from various countries across Southeast Asia.

This award reflects the capabilities and dedication of Khon Kaen University’s dental students in advancing dental research on an international level.
