ISKKU Student Selected for ODOS Summer Camp at Australia’s Leading Universities

The Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, Khon Kaen University, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Parichat Noithiam, a first-year undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Arts in English for Business Communication program, for being selected to participate in the ODOS Summer Camp, a prestigious national-level short-term training program in digital technology.

The ODOS Summer Camp aims to identify and nurture talented young people from across Thailand through a highly competitive selection process that spans 878 districts and 50 districts in Bangkok. The selection of a first-year student from the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies, KKU, is a testament to her outstanding potential and readiness to embrace the digital era while gaining global exposure through this remarkable opportunity in Australia.

“I feel very happy and excited because this program has a highly competitive selection process covering all 878 districts nationwide and 50 districts in Bangkok. Being chosen as a first-year student feels like a dream come true. Knowing that I will have the chance to learn in Australia motivates me even more. I have always been passionate about digital technology since entering the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies because I believe English and digital skills are essential in this era. When I learned about this program, which focuses on expanding digital perspectives and learning from world-class universities such as the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Macquarie University, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn’t miss,” said Ms. Parichat.

She added, “I want to use the knowledge and experience I gain to further develop myself — both in digital skills and business English communication. I also want to share my experience with friends and juniors, and most importantly, apply what I’ve learned to my studies and future career. I hope to contribute to enhancing the reputation of the Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies and Khon Kaen University.”

The program’s main objective is to empower Thai youth to explore and experience cutting-edge global technologies, broaden their digital perspectives, and inspire them to pursue careers aligned with the demands of the modern world. It also aims to equip participants with essential skills for competing in the international job market.

Ms. Parichat will participate in an intensive learning program in Australia hosted by two leading universities — University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and Macquarie University — from October 18 to November 29, 2025. Her selection represents a strong first step toward personal and professional growth, reflecting the Faculty’s commitment to nurturing high-quality graduates who are ready to use language and business communication as tools to drive innovation in the digital era.
