Khon Kaen University (KKU) has announced with pride the appointment of Associate Professor Dr. Supasit Konyai as an expert for the Senate’s Natural Resources and Environment Committee. This significant role is expected to bolster crucial national initiatives.

           Dr. Supasit, who currently serves as the Deputy Director of Academic Affairs at Office of Academic service ,KKU and a lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, received this honor and trust from the Senate committee. His term as an expert will run from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.

           The appointment stems from a resolution by the Senate’s Natural Resources and Environment Committee, which recognized Dr. Supasit’s extensive and evident knowledge, capabilities, and experience across various fields. His expertise in natural resource and environmental management, in particular, was highlighted as being critically important for Thailand’s sustainable development. Khon Kaen University views this appointment as a testament to the potential of its personnel to be a vital force in driving national policies and operations.
