Khon Kaen University (KKU) recently held a ceremony to commemorate His Royal Highness Prince Mahidol Adulyadej, the Prince Father, revered as “The Father of Modern Thai Medicine.” The event, observed annually as “Mahidol Day,” took place on September 24, 2025.
Associate Professor Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, M.D., President of Khon Kaen University, led university personnel in paying tribute to the Prince Father’s profound contributions. The ceremony, held before the royal monument in front of Srinagarind Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, was presided over by Mr. Kaisorn Kongchalad, Governor of Khon Kaen Province.
