Faculty of Education, KKU Welcomes Faculty of Education, Loei Rajabhat University for Knowledge Exchange on Teacher Professional Training Management

On September 16, 2025, the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanchak, Dean of the Faculty of Education, along with administrators and staff members, warmly welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Education, Loei Rajabhat University (LRU). The delegation, headed by Dr. Anuphum Kumyoung, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, visited KKU to exchange knowledge and insights on the management of teacher professional training, with the goal of both enhancing understanding and strengthening academic cooperation in the development of teacher training centers.

During the knowledge-sharing sessions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Issara Kanchak extended a welcome address and presented an overview of the faculty, highlighting its approach to producing innovative graduates in education and the pivotal role of Khon Kaen University Demonstration Schools as both research hubs and strongholds for teacher professional training. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Samat, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs, introduced the operational framework of the Teacher Professional Training Center, outlining processes and innovations that prepare student teachers with the competencies required for the future. Meanwhile, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sarawut Jakpeng, Associate Dean for Demonstration Schools, shared information about the schools. In the afternoon, the visiting delegation toured the Demonstration Schools of Khon Kaen University, which are recognized as model institutions of innovative learning and excellence in teacher professional development.

This visit not only strengthened academic collaboration between the two institutions but also fostered the exchange of knowledge and best practices in research and educational innovation. The collaboration represents a significant step toward advancing teacher preparation quality—recognized as the foundation of Thailand’s educational development—while aligning with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to cultivate quality citizens for society.
