A professor and an alumna from the Dental Public Health program at Khon Kaen University’s Faculty of Dentistry have received awards at The 17th Asian Academy of Preventive Dentistry (AAPD) international conference. The event was held in Bali, Indonesia, from September 2-4, 2025.

Assistant Professor Dr. Araya Pisek, a faculty member in the Dental Public Health program, was awarded 3rd place in the AAPD Lion Award for Poster Presentation.

Dr. Narueporn Chusen, an alumna of the Master’s program in Dental Public Health, received the Malaysian Association for Dental Public Health Specialist Award for Best Poster Presentation.

Both awardees were advised by Associate Professor Dr. Waranuch Pitiphat.

The Faculty of Dentistry stated that these achievements reflect the quality and potential of its personnel in the field of dental public health, underscoring their readiness to contribute knowledge on an international level.
