KKU Faculty of Education Shares Knowledge and Best Practices to Support the Establishment of Kalasin University Demonstration School

On June 13, 2025, the Faculty of Education at Khon Kaen University, led by Associate Professor Dr. Isra Kanajak, Dean, along with Assistant Professor Dr. Prakrittiya Thaksino, Associate Dean for Strategy and Organizational Development, and Assistant Professor Dr. Sarawut Jakpeng, Associate Dean for Demonstration School Affairs, warmly welcomed the management and faculty team from the Faculty of Education and Educational Innovation, Kalasin University. The visiting group, led by Associate Professor Dr. Lawan Dulyachart, Dean, visited KKU for a study visit aimed at exploring guidelines for establishing the Kalasin University Demonstration School. The program took place at the Faculty of Education and the International Demonstration School of Khon Kaen University.

The objective of the visit was to exchange experiences and learn from KKU’s management of its demonstration school. Associate Professor Dr. Isra Kanajak gave an overview presentation on the structure and operations of the Faculty and its demonstration school. This was followed by in-depth discussions covering key issues such as school administration, planning structures, curriculum design, staffing, operational strategies, and approaches to addressing challenges. The KKU team provided detailed insights and responses to all questions from the Kalasin delegation.

In the afternoon, the visiting team toured the International Demonstration School of KKU, observing its facilities, learning environments, and classroom instruction across different levels. This offered a concrete understanding of actual operations and best practices that can be adapted to support the planning and development of Kalasin University’s own demonstration school.

Associate Professor Dr. Isra Kanajak stated, “The visit from Kalasin University’s Faculty of Education marks a valuable opportunity for academic collaboration and meaningful knowledge exchange—particularly in the area of demonstration school development. KKU’s Faculty of Education is well-prepared and committed to sharing its expertise to help elevate the quality of education nationwide.”

This study visit not only strengthened institutional ties between the two universities but also extended knowledge and practical experience in managing demonstration schools. It aligns with the Faculty of Education’s role as a hub for educational innovation and leadership. Moreover, it reflects the faculty’s mission in providing academic services that benefit the broader education sector and contribute to sustainable national development.
