On May 30, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m., Khon Kaen University (KKU), through its Division of Educational Quality Development, welcomed a study visit from Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University. The visiting group, which included representatives from the Office of Continuing Education and the Teachers’ Civil Service and Educational Personnel Commission, joined the visit under the theme “Modern Management Toward Organizational Excellence.” The event was hosted at the Sarasin Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Si Rikunakorn Building, and attended by over 70 participants from both institutions.

Dr. Pawana Kittiwimonchai, Director of the Division of Educational Quality Development at KKU, officially welcomed the guests and shared her insights on success factors in applying the EdPEx framework to improve educational quality within institutions.

She emphasized that successful implementation of EdPEx depends on establishing a clear strategy for operationalizing the framework, communicating it effectively across all departments, and ensuring leadership support in terms of resources, guidance, monitoring, and leading by example. Additionally, active participation from staff networks is essential to foster shared understanding and appreciation of the framework’s benefits.

Dr. Pawana also noted the importance of cultivating in-house EdPEx experts who can provide targeted advice aligned with EdPEx criteria, ensuring continuous and meaningful improvement. Lastly, she stressed the role of motivation, rewards, and organizational unity in driving success. With commitment and collaboration from all members, she affirmed, excellence can truly be achieved.
