KKBS students win awards in the 10th Research to Market competition, a national competition.

The Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, Khon Kaen University, would like to congratulate the student representatives of the Faculty under the name of the team "Sirimongkol", which consists of 5 members: Mr. Wisarut Hangli, Mr. Saharat Wanna, Ms. Nitida Khephandung, Ms. Nichapa Singhsri and Ms. Arisa Phisitphonphitikun Third-year students of the Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing major, won the 2nd runner-up award in the 10th “Path to Innovation” project competition, national round, organized by the Office of Promotion and Coordination for Science, Research and Innovation (OPDC), Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, in collaboration with the Southern Science Park, during February 18-19, 2023 at Crystal Hotel, Hat Yai, Songkhla Province.

For the project “Path to Innovation”, it was organized to promote and push for the application of research results and innovations from universities or research and development units to commercial use by relying on the mechanisms and services of the regional science park. In this national championship, the “Sirimongkol” team brought the research Carbohydrate Polymers Materials for Medical Applications: Hydrogeles by the research lecturer, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornpapa Kasemsiri, Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, to create a feasibility study plan to further develop the research results to commercial use in order to further develop the innovation to investors or entrepreneurs in the future.

1st Runner-up: Team Bee Plus: Artificial pollen food for honeybees (Phayao University)
*2nd Runner-up: Sirimongkol Team: Hydrogel Composite with Silver Nano Particles (Khon Kaen University)
Honorable Mention: Team ENIGMA: Development of Bioplastic for use as a scaffold in knee cushions (Suranaree University of Technology)
Honorable Mention: Team FYTY: Platform for E-Sport Team Partners (Chiang Mai University)
