On May 27, 2022, the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University organized the opening ceremony of MDKKU Service at the MDKKU Care Day 2022 @The Collab Central Khon Kaen event under the campaign "50 years of KKU doctors, passing on endless good health" with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somsak Thiamkao The Assistant Dean of Hospital Affairs, Faculty of Medicine, gave a report and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apichat Jirawuttipong The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, presided over the opening ceremony at COLLAB:Co-Working Space, G floor, Central Plaza Khon Kaen.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Somsak Thiamkao The assistant dean of the hospital, Faculty of Medicine, reported that on behalf of the director of the medical service unit, Srinagarind Hospital, Central Plaza Khon Kaen branch or MDKKU Service, the establishment of this service unit aims to facilitate people to receive medical services and reduce crowding of people using the services at Srinagarind Hospital in accordance with the New Normal disease prevention guidelines. Therefore, there is a collaboration to open the MDKKU Service unit at Central Plaza Khon Kaen shopping mall, with many services such as home medicine delivery that helps reduce crowding, annual health check-ups, health problem consultations, heart health check-ups, appointment bookings, postponement of medical treatment appointments, or any coordination like a branch of Srinagarind Hospital, which has been open since July 1, 2021. Currently, the service has been continuously developed to meet the needs of the people by providing services every day, including public holidays, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with doctors providing services throughout business hours, which shows the shared idea and intention in various dimensions to promote the image and create a healthy society for the people of Khon Kaen and neighboring provinces. Today is a good opportunity to officially open the MDKKU Service Unit, so we have organized the MDKKU Care Day 2022 activity to promote the health of the people who come to the event.
Then Assoc. Prof. Dr. Apichat Jirawuttipong The Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, therefore gave an opening speech saying in part that “Although Srinagarind Hospital, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University is a government hospital, in terms of operations, we must create new things that will allow people to access quality services with the greatest convenience. We believe that there are only a few government hospitals that can open a service unit for people in a shopping mall like this. MDKKU Service can be considered a branch of Srinagarind Hospital that is the result of a new management approach that we are proud of. From past statistics, it shows that the demand for using the service has been increasing in order, in line with our intention of wanting people to access the service. It is a collaboration that comes from working together, for which we would like to thank all the management teams and those involved in this event.”

In this event, there is also an activity MDKKU Care Day 2022 "50 years of KKU doctors, passing on endless good health" to promote good health for the public by providing health check-up services, "Workshop Doctor Takes You to Do" activities about clean food to reduce blood pressure, a discussion with KKU doctors on "High Risk of Loss", treating high blood pressure before it's too late by expert medical speakers, which has the general public and interested people coming to receive services and join activities throughout the day.
