Khon Kaen University, through its Legal and Communications division, organised a media tour of the university’s key projects under the “Khon Kaen University Delivers Happiness and Meets Local Media Networks” programme on 9 June 2026 at the Sirikunakorn Building. The initiative provided an opportunity for media representatives to learn about the progress of the university’s research, innovations, and major strategic projects, whilst fostering cooperation to widely disseminate information to the general public.
During the event, the media delegation visited an exhibition showcasing and commercialising batteries integrated with solar cell systems and inverters. This technology represents one of the significant research and innovation breakthroughs developed by Khon Kaen University to support the utilisation of clean energy, enhance energy security, and extend institutional knowledge for practical applications in both the public and industrial sectors.
In her opening remarks, Mrs. Natsamol Tanakulrungsarit, Vice President for Legal and Communications, welcomed the media members and emphasised that this site visit was organised to raise awareness of the university’s role in driving knowledge, research, and innovation that address national development needs. Furthermore, the Vice President noted that the event served as a platform for exchanging perspectives and recommendations with press professionals, who constitute a vital mechanism for linking beneficial information to the public.
