KKU Partners with BOTNOI GROUP for Exclusive Workshop to Empower New Generation Students, Reinforcing “EGGS Identity”

Khon Kaen, Thailand – On 20 February 2026, an atmosphere of inspiration filled the meeting room at the Student Organisation and Activities Building, Khon Kaen University, for a special lecture titled “Botnoi AI: The Secret Weapon for a New Era of Startups.” The event was a collaboration between the Division of Student Affairs and Innovation Commercialization, Khon Kaen University, and BOTNOI GROUP, a leading artificial intelligence (AI) technology company in Thailand.

The workshop was organised to enhance students’ understanding of AI technology and empower them to apply this knowledge in their journeys towards entrepreneurship. A key highlight was a lecture delivered by two senior executives and experts in the AI and startup ecosystem: Dr Winn Voravuthikunchai, Chief Executive Officer, and Dr Thanawat Tiesiriphet, Chief Marketing Officer of BOTNOI GROUP. Both speakers shared firsthand insights into establishing and scaling a successful Generative AI startup. They outlined strategic approaches to leveraging AI as a competitive advantage, covering business model design, marketing strategies, and operational optimisation.

The central aim of the session was to inspire students to think boldly and embrace innovation. The speakers articulated a forward-looking vision of an AI-driven future, encouraging participants to adopt the mindset of a “creator” rather than merely a “user.” This perspective urges students to identify emerging opportunities and to innovate with confidence — attributes essential for entrepreneurs in the contemporary digital economy.

The success of this event reinforces the vision of the Division of Student Affairs and Innovation Commercialization, which is committed to the holistic development of students in line with the policy of cultivating the “EGGS Identity” among the KKU student body. The learning environment was dynamic, with students actively engaging in discussions, asking insightful questions, and exchanging perspectives with the speakers. This reflected the potential and readiness of Khon Kaen University students to enter the world of technology and innovation. The workshop marks a significant step in inspiring and intellectually equipping the new generation to become entrepreneurs who will drive the nation’s digital economy in the future.
