The Khon Kaen University Science Park (KKUSP), acting as the network for the Regional Science Park, Northeastern Region 1 (RSPNortheast1), organised an activity to select research projects and provide training in writing Business Concepts. This event was held under the Research To Market (R2M) Program for the academic year 2026, taking place from 31 January to 1 February 2026, at the Administration Building of the Regional Science Park, Northeastern Region 1, Khon Kaen Province.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Thidarut Boonmars, D.V.M., Ph.D., Vice President for Enterprise and Societal Sustainability, Khon Kaen University. Apirachai Wongsriworaphon, Ph.D., Director of the Khon Kaen University Science Park, delivered the welcoming remarks and provided an overview of the activities, emphasising the Science Park’s crucial role as a core mechanism for connecting research, technology, and innovation towards tangible commercial utilisation.
The programme featured Mr. Sakulchai Tantrabandhith and Mr. Amarin Charoensuk, founders of Me2 Cooperation Co., Ltd., who served as guest speakers. They shared their expertise on the topic, “How to Write a Winning Business Concept Plan,” alongside an inspirational session on Design Thinking aimed at fostering innovative concepts and developing relevant business models that effectively address actual market demands.


The event also featured presentations of research findings selected for Business Concept development by esteemed faculty members, researchers, and experts, including:
- Associate Professor Nuntavun Riddech, Ph.D., Faculty of Science
- Associate Professor Jirawan Apiraksakorn, Ph.D., Faculty of Technology
- Assistant Professor Phongthanat Sae-joo, Ph.D., Faculty of Education
- Assistant Professor Wipawee Thukhammee, Ph.D., Faculty of Medicine
Students from various faculties and colleges attended the intensive training sessions and research presentations, including representatives from the Faculty of Technology, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Faculty of Business Administration and Accountancy, the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Science, the Faculty of Engineering, the International College (IC), the Graduate School of Management (GSM), and the College of Computing (CoC).
