On January 30, 2026, at the Saisuree Chutikul Meeting Room, the Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University, organized an academic seminar titled “Law for Teachers and Educational Personnel: Best Practices and Case Studies.” Associate Professor Issara Kanjug, Dean of the Faculty of Education, presided over the opening ceremony, with Associate Professor Wayu Kanjanasorn, Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Sustainable Society, reporting the project’s objectives.
During the opening ceremony, Associate Professor Issara Kanjug emphasized that laws and regulations are essential frameworks for ensuring transparency, fairness, and good governance in professional duties. He noted that correct understanding not only enhances work efficiency but also builds immunity to prevent problems and reduce risks arising from official duties. Meanwhile, Associate Professor Wayu Kanjanasorn added that the project aims to enable participants to apply this legal knowledge correctly and appropriately within the current educational context.
The keynote session was led by Dr. Suphasin Phuseesom from the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC). The lecture covered essential civil service regulations and practical legal applications through real-world case studies. This training equips personnel and future teachers with the confidence to make decisions within legal frameworks, promoting transparent management and excellence in the teaching profession. This initiative supports the goal of providing inclusive, high-quality education for sustainable social development.
