Have you ever dreamt of pursuing a Master’s degree at a world-class university in the United Kingdom?
For many students, the vision of studying amid historic European architecture, immersing themselves in new cultures, and unlocking international career opportunities may seem distant or complicated. Today, that aspiration is well within reach for students of the Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC).

In one of the most exciting academic developments of the year, KKUIC has entered into an official partnership with the University of York, one of the United Kingdom’s leading institutions. This collaboration introduces the “4+1 Progression Agreement,” designed to provide KKUIC students with a clear, seamless, and highly rewarding pathway to postgraduate study in the UK.
Why the University of York?
The University of York is far more than a typical partner institution. It is a proud member of the Russell Group, widely regarded as the UK’s equivalent of the US Ivy League for research-intensive universities. Its academic excellence is reflected in its consistent Top 20 UK ranking and its position as 12th in the Complete University Guide 2026.

Beyond academics, York is frequently recognised as one of the happiest places to live and the second safest city in the UK. The city offers a green, sustainable living environment, complemented by modern, state-of-the-art campus facilities, creating an ideal setting for international students.

Exclusive Privileges for KKUIC Students
This programme is more than a simple exchange contract; it is a “red-carpet pathway” specifically designed for KKUIC graduates, offering significant benefits:
- Tuition Fee Discount: Students who apply through this programme during the 2026–2027 academic year will receive an immediate tuition fee discount of $\text{\textsterling}$4,000 (approximately 170,000 THB). This significantly alleviates financial burdens and simplifies the decision to pursue further studies.
- Accessible Grade Requirement: Complicated grade equivalency is not a concern. Graduates from Khon Kaen University International College are qualified to apply with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPAX) of $2.60$ or higher (which is equivalent to the UK’s 2:2 degree classification). Applicants should, however, review the specific English language test requirements mandated by each corresponding Master’s programme at the University of York (click on the programme names below for further details).
