KKU Faculty of Education Organises Classroom Research Presentation Event for Second Semester 2025, Recognising Outstanding Studies

17 January 2026 – The Faculty of Education, Khon Kaen University (KKU), organised the “Presentation of Classroom Research for the Second Semester of the Academic Year 2025.” The event served as an academic platform for student teachers undergoing practical training to present systematic research on addressing educational challenges and enhancing learning outcomes.  The programme also featured an award presentation ceremony to honour outstanding research projects. University executives, lecturers, and students participated in the activities, collectively contributing to the advancement of classroom teaching quality.

During the certificate presentation ceremony for Outstanding Classroom Research, Associate Professor Issara Kanjak, Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Education, congratulated the award-winning students. He provided conceptual guidance, emphasising that investigating real classroom problems and developing practical solutions is a core principle that student teachers must embrace as they transition into the teaching profession.

Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of developing students’ competencies to progress towards becoming “Teacher-Researchers” (ครูนักวิจัย). Such educators must be capable of independently designing, creating, and refining classroom-based innovations. He expressed his hope that the students would apply the insights gained from academic specialists to their future professional practice, concluding with encouragement and best wishes for all aspiring teachers.

The event featured classroom research presentations by student teachers from a wide range of disciplines. The studies focused on applying analytical thinking processes to address student learning challenges and piloting innovative teaching approaches. Senior faculty members provided constructive feedback and academic critique to enhance both the quality and practical relevance of the research.

Organising this event enabled student teachers to strengthen their skills in systematic inquiry and problem-solving, which are essential to modern professional development in education. The benefits extended beyond individual skill enhancement, preparing the students to create effective learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of learners.

Promoting classroom research skills reflects the Faculty’s preparation for producing graduates who are educational innovators equipped with future skills. Nurturing the Teacher-Researcher identity forms a crucial foundation for developing new knowledge and creating educational innovations that yield sustainable societal benefits. This initiative aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to quality education and lifelong learning, thereby strengthening Thailand’s education system in line with international standards.
