On 17 November 2025, from 13.30 to 16.00 hrs., Associate Professor Pimvadee Porpongrueng, Ph.D., Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, alongside faculty members and staff, welcomed a delegation of teachers and secondary school students from Kaennakhon Wittayalai School. The group was led by Mr. Phanudecha Phawaphinit, Deputy Director of the Academic Administration Group (representing the School Director), and comprised 37 participants. The activity focused on introducing the students to special advisors for the 2025 Science and Mathematics Project, enabling them to present their science project proposals and receive guidance under the POSN (Promotion of Science and Technology Talents Center) Excellence Programme Curriculum. The event, held in Room 9105 of the Wittayawipas Building, included an introductory video about the Faculty of Science, a presentation on the POSN Excellence Programme, and an introduction of relevant faculty from both institutions.

Associate Professor Pimvadee provided guidance to the students, emphasising the need for thorough preparation when undertaking collaborative research within a university setting. She likened teamwork in research to forming a musical band, which requires responsibility, precise communication, and mutual respect. She stressed the importance of punctuality, commitment to the schedule, and advance planning, especially regarding the submission of reports to the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST) in January.
She also highlighted the need for proper email etiquette, noting that students must write in a formal manner, clearly introduce themselves, and communicate respectfully.

Speaking on behalf of the school, Mr. Phanudecha Phawaphinit, Deputy Director of the Academic Administration Group, urged all students to prepare thoroughly for the transition to the university learning environment. He encouraged them to maintain an openness to learning, demonstrate endurance and excellent manners, and diligently follow the advice provided by the professors and senior students. Following these remarks, the students proceeded to meet their special advisors for consultation.
This activity reflects the strong collaboration between educational institutions in developing students’ scientific potential, aligning with the policy set forth by the IPST. It creates a robust foundation for Thai youth to develop research skills and scientific thinking, while simultaneously fostering the ethics and morality necessary for becoming high-quality researchers. This prepares them to be key future contributors to national development, consistent with the goal of creating high-quality scientific knowledge and human resources for the nation’s advancement.
