The Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies at Khon Kaen University (KKU) has announced that one of its students, Mr. Setthawut Suthan, a third-year Public Administration major, has been selected to represent Thai youth in the “SEED Thailand X China Rising Leader Program 3.”

This international leadership development forum is scheduled to take place in the People’s Republic of China from October 21 to November 4, 2025.

The program is a collaborative effort between the King Prajadhipok’s Institute Student Foundation for Society (KPISE) and the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Kingdom of Thailand. Its primary objective is to enhance the potential of Thai youth, equipping them with a global perspective and vision.

The SEED Thailand X China Rising Leader Program 3 focuses on providing in-depth knowledge across several critical dimensions, including politics, governance, economics, society, and technology. This comprehensive framework aims to prepare young leaders to respond effectively to  current and future global challenges.

Participation in the program offers a crucial opportunity for Mr. Setthawut to gain a deeper understanding of the strong relationship between Thailand and China. Furthermore, it highlights the role of the SEED Thailand youth network in utilizing creativity and innovation as key mechanisms for community and local development.

The Faculty of Interdisciplinary Studies and the Public Administration program at Khon Kaen University extended their congratulations and support to Mr. Setthawut Suthan as he undertakes his role as a Thai youth representative, encouraging him to bring back valuable experience to contribute to the further development of society and the nation.
