On August 14, 2025, the Faculty of Dentistry, Khon Kaen University (KKU), led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Anoma Rattanacharoentham, Deputy Dean for Administration, together with Ms. Kitiporn Chaiyokul, Director of the Faculty Administrative Office, and faculty staff, participated in the Buddhist merit-making almsgiving ceremony to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Faculty of Economics. The event was held in front of the Lecture and Basic Skills Building, Faculty of Economics, KKU.
The ceremony was organized to uphold the tradition of Buddhist almsgiving, a cultural practice deeply rooted in Thai society that fosters spiritual well-being and social harmony. It also served to bring blessings to faculty members and participants, while marking an occasion of joy and congratulations for the Faculty of Economics on its tenth anniversary of establishment and continuous development.
The atmosphere was warm and cordial, filled with smiles from faculty, staff, students, and honored guests who joined in offering food and essentials to the monks and listening to a Buddhist sermon for blessings and encouragement in their professional duties.
The participation of the Faculty of Dentistry not only reflected goodwill and collaboration among faculties within the University but also underscored its commitment to engaging in activities that promote cultural and religious values, while strengthening relationships within the Khon Kaen University community.
