The Study UK Alumni Awards 2021 – 2022 is aimed at relating stories of the success of the United Kingdom alumni all over the world, who are leaders in their professions and have used their learning experiences from the universities in the United Kingdom for the benefits of communities, the industrial sector and their own country. The British Council has awarded these honorable prizes for 8 years now. This year, the prizes are divided into 4 fields, namely: 1) Science and Sustainability Award, 2) Culture and Creativity Award, 3) Social Action Award and 4) Business and Innovation Award.
This year, Dr. Jutarop Phetcharaburanin from the Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine and KKU International Phenome Laboratory, Cholangiocarcinoma Research Institute, who is an alumnus of the University of London and Imperial College London, passed the selection and is a finalist for the Study UK Alumni Awards 2021 – 2022 in the field of Science and Sustainability. The award is bestowed upon the alumni whose performance in the profession is outstanding in the field. The work also demonstrates positive impacts and success in related fields such as managing the changes of climate, clean energy, medicine, sustainable cities and communities, engineering, industry and construction. The stories about the awardees’ success, their skills, experiences, and knowledge obtained from universities in UK are available at the British Council Thailand. The announcement of the Study UK Alumni Awards 2021 – 2022 is scheduled in March this year.
