H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Vientiane, Lao PDR Visit the administrators of KKU

On March 3rd 2020 at Sirikunakorn 5, 6th floor, Sirikunakorn building. H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Vientiane, Lao PDR and his delegations visit the administrators of Khon Kaen University led by Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, Acting President of Khon Kaen University, Assoc. Prof. Maitree Inprasitha, Vice President for Education, Asst. Prof. Acharawan Topark-Ngarm, Assistant to the President for International Affairs , Asst. Prof. Nattapat Ananteerakul Assistant to the President for Education and Ms. Netdao Chamroendararasmee, Acting director of International Affairs Division. The aim of this visit are to discuss the academic collaboration ,especially in graduate student level, including medical , public health, and agricultural collaboration

Assoc. Prof. Charnchai Panthongviriyakul, Acting President of Khon Kaen University said on behalf of Khon Kaen University, it is our honour to welcome H.E. Ambassador of Thailand to Vientiane, Lao PDR. KKU and Lao, PDR have strengthened the relationship for ages and have many collaborations such as academic collaboration in graduate student level in medical , nursing, educational, agricultural fields , training course, and internship. In the present, there are 53 Lao students, studying in KKU and 261 Alumni. Moreover, there is Lao student association in KKU which is the center of Lao cultural dissemination.

H.E. Mr. Damrong Kraikruan, Ambassador of Thailand to Vientiane, Lao PDR said I would like to express the word thank you to Khon Kaen University for warmly welcome. Lao, PDR and KKU have a good long relationship. There are Lao people who graduated from Thailand, and now take a position of director general of international affairs. This shows that Thailand should focus on education for Lao, PDR, develop international networking such as short training, scholarship, including giving knowledge about medical, public health, and agricultural tips for their people.
