A Lecturer from Faculty of Technology receives National Best Researcher Award

Congratulations to Prof. Dr. Alissara Reungsang from Faculty of Technology, KKU, on National Best Researcher Award in the field of agriculture and biology 

On November 20, 2019, National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT) announced the National Research Council Award winners for fiscal year 2020. Nine winners came from 5 different academic fields. In this year, Prof. Dr. Alissara Reungsang from Faculty of Technology, Khon Kaen University, received National Best Researcher Award in the field of agriculture and biology. She obtained Ph.D. in Water Resources from Iowa State University and now works at Faculty of Technology as a lecturer as well as the leader of research team developing the process of hydrogen production from biomass involving microorganism. Her outstanding research also involves the production of biofuel and biochemical substance. Moreover, she studies on sugar cane, algae, industrial including agricultural waste fermentation with the use of microorganism to produce biogas, such as hydrogen and methane.
