Faculty of Education monitors PLC projects at schools joining Teacher Council network to trigger innovations that fix learning problems

On November 11, 2019 a group of education teachers from KKU, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sumalee Chaijareon, a dean of education, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jarunee Samart, an assistant dean for education and quality development, visit Somsoong Pitaya School to follow up on the school’s PLC project.

The visit is a channel for the school and KKU to discuss the problems occurring during the PLC implementing process while the suggestions needed for unlocking the problems were as well brought up on the meeting. PLC has been encouraged to the teachers and schools as a mean to help dissolve learning problems among the learners. It is a method that accredits teachers as professional problem solvers relating the students’ learning while bridging academic collaboration between higher education institute and the schools. The area-based problem solving is a core of PLC working principle.
